They kept on assuring me that I am in good hands. And on the moving day, a nice group of boys came down to my place and started to pack. All was done under the estimated time and they packed with great care and respect. At the end, my items were safely delivered and they stayed until I was satisfied by their work. These guys really know what they are doing! This past weekend they moved me from Chicago to South Dakota with a lot of heavy furniture. I was worried about having the items going through my narrow doorway but the crew already planned ahead. Before I new it the door was removed and they put mats out to protect the floor, I was very impressed with the quality and speed of the job. I will definetly use them again in the future and I recommend them to my family.

My brother and I move in together to a sweet condo in California with the help of Great Lakes Van Lines. I was very impressed with the level of their service and support in having it organized well. I had many collector items and large pictures packed special by them with utmost care. Once everything arrived I oversaw them carry it all into the home into their designated spots. I moved into my first real apartment after 5 years of living in a tiny studio apartment and had Great Lakes Van Lines do the move. I was surprised at how much stuff I had accumulated over the years despite the tiny space. After trying to pack myself I relented and have them do the full packing and let me tell you it was way worth the price! The packed me up quickly and got my worldly possessions into the truck smoothly. I never saw movers so calm and patient and easy going like this crew. The boxed, shrink wrapped, taped, padded everything till it was nice than a christmas present. I know with confidence that I will use them again in the future and I recommend you all do the same.

I was worried about finding the right moving service to move my mom's belongings as she has many items she cherishes. The guys were great! I am more than just impressed with the quality of service provided by Great Lakes Van Lines. Their sales rep Julianna offered me a customized package and the estimated cost was well within my budget. I had to change the moving date but they did not ask for any extra payment for the change and willingly accommodated the changes in the schedule. The packing and loading was done with great ease and the delivery was made before the allotted time. After going through the inventory, we did not get a chance to complain, which was great. I have never been an organized person. My house is always a mess and having to pack up everything was giving me nightmares. But Great Lakes Van Lines made my move so easy. After comparing 4 different quotes, I decided to go with Great Lakes Van Lines which had the lowest estimate. They sent over four movers sharp at 8 am to my house. They looked very strong and capable. They proved their worth by efficiently packing up all my belongings into boxes. They used enough packing materials to safeguard the boxes. The loading process went very smoothly and soon they were on their way. When the delivery was made, everything was in great condition. I don’t know how the other companies are but I’m very satisfied with Great Lakes Van Lines.

This is probably the first moving company I have ever seen which delivers exactly what they say. Usually, the sales rep. claim too much in the first meeting to convince their customers and then keep on presenting lame excuses for being not able to serve all what had been promised.
